DALLAS — Since both companies aim to serve buy-here, pay-here dealers, Vehicle Acceptance Corp. and PassTime chose to form a marketing alliance.
The partnership announced earlier this week resulted in a coordinated effort to promote PassTime's starter interrupt and GPS devices in conjunction with Vehicle Acceptance's cash and service solutions.
In order to be prepared adequately for this marketing venture with PassTime, Vehicle Acceptance also revealed it opened a new office in Carmel, Ind., and expanded its corporate headquarters in Dallas. The company also boosted the size of its Phoenix office.
"VAC's volume and present opportunities required significantly increasing the size of our offices in Dallas and Phoenix," added Jonathan Neubauer, chief executive officer of Vehicle Acceptance.
"We now have the infrastructure and staffing that is necessary to maintain our current internal growth rates and absorb additional opportunities like this one with PassTime," Neubauer went on to say.
Frank Jacobsen, president and chief operating officer of PassTime, also shared his thoughts about the partnership. Jacobsen hopes the arrangement with Vehicle Acceptance will help to promote his company's line of products intended to reduce delinquencies, improve collections, and assist in repossessions.
"Combining the products and services of PassTime with the financing options of VAC makes a very strong offering to the buy-here, pay-here automotive market," Jacobsen contended.
"We are looking forward to a long and successful partnership with VAC," he concluded.
