RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif. — Finance Express, a provider of Web-based financial services and technology for independent dealerships, announced recently it has added Wachovia Dealer Services to its platform.
Company officials stressed that the addition is a response to hundreds of requests they received from independent dealers. They also contend that Wachovia Dealer Services provides a broad spectrum of lending and has been a stable lender in the industry.
"We are excited about the addition of Wachovia Dealer Services to our lender platform," stated David Huber, president of Finance Express.
"They are one of the leading lenders in the auto finance industry. They have a history of commitment to their dealer customers and understand them as well as any lender in the country," Huber continued.
Lyndon Elam, business center manager for Wachovia Dealer Services, also shared his stance about the announcement.
"Joining the Finance Express platform enables us to expand our support for the independent dealer segment," Elam indicated.
On March 20, Wachovia Dealer Services will become Wells Fargo Dealer Services. SubPrime Auto Finance News reported this decision in late February.
