DealerTrack Plans Free Red Flags Webinar

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. — DealerTrack is looking to help store management prepare for the imminent deadline for Red Flags enforcement by the Federal Trade Commission.
Executives have planned a free Webinar to discuss this topic and more on May 27.
Beyond the Red Flags Rule that goes into effect June 1, DealerTrack anticipates that its experts will share recommendations about how to handle policies and procedures for OFAC checks as well as the risks of conducting business with customers over the Internet.
The Webinar is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. ET.
DealerTrack indicated it wants to aid dealers with "critical issues they need to be aware of when evaluating their identity theft prevention programs."
