Jennifer Reed is Automotive Group Editor for S&A Cherokee. In her position she heads up the editorial for Auto Remarketing NewsMagazine, the best source for news in the used-car and remarketing industry, and SubPrime Auto Finance News, the top information source for the auto finance industry.

Both magazines are full-color, glossy publications that have companion sites — www.autoremarketing.com and www.subprimenews.com.

The Auto Remarketing site currently publishes eight e-newsletters a week: Auto Remarketing Today each business morning; Used Car Manager Weekly on Wednesday afternoons; Auction Executive on Mondays at mid-morning; and Auto Remarketing Canada on Fridays at mid-morning.

The SubPrime Site currently publishes SubPrime Update on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Jennifer joined the company in late 2003 as a staff writer for Auto Remarketing NewsMagazine. She was later named online editor for Auto Remarketing, where she oversaw editorial content of the Auto Remarketing e-newsletters and site.

Next, she was named editor of SubPrime Auto Finance News, where she oversaw content for that site and publication, in addition to her responsibilities as Online Editor for the Auto Remarketing site.

In her new role as Automotive Group Editor, Jennifer continues to call upon her contacts and resources in the auto industry to report on the latest developments, trends and regulatory actions in the remarketing, used-car and finance industries. She enjoys covering the gamut of the auto industry.

Jennifer is a lifelong storyteller, who had her first work published while attending grade school. After obtaining her degree in media studies from Radford University, Jennifer began her career at a weekly newspaper. From there, she moved on to spend several years writing for daily newspapers throughout North Carolina and Virginia before joining S&A Cherokee. When not writing, one of her favorite pastimes is curling up with a cat and a good book.
